hi matt,

how is 2.1 doing?
as always like to start  a new project and would love to have my patches
(mainly cleanup and unit tests)
are they in??

We use an Apache-like process for committers. When we see that someone has contributed a lot to the project (via patches, helping on the mailing list, etc.), a developer will nominate them to become a committer. Then the other developers vote on it and if the vote passes, they're granted committer rights.

tibi has done quite a bit of work in JIRA to contribute patches, hence the reason I think he would be a valuable committer. ;-)

yes i saw that when searching for "committer" at the dev list, thx.
before voting for me i will look at the issues for 2.1 and post some patches, if i have some (i am the one with the cxf upgrade APF-1125).
