Hi Jürgen,
was it really hot air? I cannot see the burner. The blimp looks to me
like it is filled with helium.

Anyway, brilliant shot!

Hi,

I can't open the panorama. It shows an error message saying "ERROR: Error
parsing XML; Unexpected start of xml string". Am I the only one to see this
error? I am using Windows XP Home Edition (SP2) with Internet Explorer ver
6.0. Of couse I have Shockwave Player installed.

Regards,

hyung

Yeah ... but that's a one-way trip and you can only do it once (unless
you're wearing a BASE rig).      =8^)

Help! I'd love to be able to see this great panorama, but for some
reason it doesn't display at all :-(

I'm running Windows XP, and tried with IE7, Firefox and Opera. All
with the same result on two separate PC's.

Actually I went to schrader-air.de and had the same problem with all
Flash panoramas. QTVR is OK.
I updated to the latest flash player version 9.0.28.0 (I had
9.0.16.0), but still no luck.

I get these messages;
Engine initialised.
Loading 'www.schrader-air.de/panorama/badwiessee/airovision.xml'
Importing 'www.schrader-air.de/panorama/badwiessee/airovision.xml'
ERROR: Error parsing XML; unexpected start of xml string

Anybody else with these problems?

I am sorry for this, but I have no idea what might be the cause.
I've asked Aldo, maybe he has an idea.

FWIW there is a Shockwave  Ver 10.1.4.020 which I had to download
before being able to access Jurgen's neat image using Windows and
Firefox, see the link Adobe below...

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?

It's interesting that both you and Kim Hyung are from Korea (right?).
Could there be a country-wide proxy disabling access to the xml file?

If you go straight to the xml url:
http://www.schrader-air.de/panorama/badwiessee/airovision.xml

And can you see the panoramas on the SPi-V gallery:
http://fieldofview.com/spv-gallery

'do

PS: if you don't want to 'pollute' the Panotools list with this issue,
there's also a post about it on SPi-V dev:
http://fieldofview.com/spv-dev/node/502

Actually my thoughts as well, but when I checked, the file is being
served in a corrupt state. Maybe some cached version that needs time
to "get stale" before a new version is read?

No problems whatsoever...

BTW. From the XML file I could make my own to force a view, and...
WOW!! it's a fantastic panorama!
Great work Juergen!

Jurgen,

it's so nice this pano!!!!!!!!!!

What can I say, I felt like I was up there... started feeling cold...

and getting dizzy!!!!!!

I just can't figure out how you did it....

I really cannot figure that out...

I thought we should see some missing hands helding everything....

and how is it possible to handle a 5D with a 10.5mm.... at that
altitude with wind....

Please tell us how you did it, more details!!!!

U.
