Hi.
I am using Mac OSX, Flash CS4. I figured there are people using various versions of Flash Develop, Flex, CS3 and 4.
I followed some tutorials online on how to set up your first SWF file to draw with BasicView. (not working for me)
First, there are multiple files at:
http://code.google.com/p/papervision3d/downloads/listQ) Which one do I need if I am using CS4? - (it's not very self-explanatory with the download names)
One of the tutorials said:
-- Get the files for pv3d using SVN.
Q) After getting the files, however, there are 4 folders, "as2", "as3", "branches" and "components". What are these names referring to? Which do I need? Are these just copies of the same folders, or different versions?
-- Set up custom classes folder in CS4 preferences
Q) Each folder (as2, as3, branches, comp) has at least one copy of src/org, com or fl. I'd like to copy these folder (as said in a tutorial) to another folder for all my custom classes and have CS4 point to that directory. Is this this best way to import the classes in an ActionScript file?
Thanks for anyone's help in explaining each of versions and history. Is this in a FAQ link somewhere?
Cheers!!
