Good Morning Everyone:
Recently I found that a model I had built, prior to installing SP6, was
no longer functioning properly. The version of software that I am
currently using is ArcGIS ArcInfo 9.2 (build 1500). In this model, I am
using the following SQL query to select records from a table (i.e
Polygon_Properties) that do not relate to records in a feature class
(i.e. Landscape_Polygons) via the attribute "LandscapePolygonID" both of
which are within a Personal Geodatabase. Myself and a co-worker both
absolutely remember this query working in the past.
[LandscapePolygonID] not in (select [LandscapePolygonID] from
Landscape_Polygons)
My questions are these:
1. What did SP6 change so that this query would not run? It
correctly identifies records using "in" but will not recognize my
intentional errors using "not in".
2. Is there a way to switch your selection within Model Builder?
3. Are there any other ways (within Model Builder) to accomplish
the same effect?
