For some strange reason I thought I could archived a job.  I can't remember what hudson version it was back when...but I thought I saw an archive job when I tried to delete a job?  As of right now, I have about 20-30 jobs that are disabled and there are cluttering my dashboard (the all and my own).  I really don't want to delete them but hide them because I will need them in the future (they are maintenance/hardening jobs).  I don't have a problem backing up the jobs, deleting them, and then recreate the jobs as needed.  I just thought there was an archive job option.  If not,  it gives me an idea of a couple of plug-ins...

This is filed as an RFE in the issue tracker. I think I called in
"shelving" feature.

I agree it would be useful.
