Hi,

I am wondering why Hudson is using blue for success, not green?

Thanks,
Jason

I wondered that too, but I suspect it's better for the color-blind.

Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)
A search of the mailing list may show up something, as I understand it there was a long discussion about it at some point.

An interesting explanation about blue traffic light http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ParthenonWeekly/message/232 , find "Mysteries of Everyday Life" on the page

+1 for localizing this instead of making it plugable.

I am very happy with the blue theme. Main reason for that is that it reminds me of a song from the 80's, "Blinkar Blå" (Flashing Blue), by a Swedish group called "Adolphson Falk". Unfortunately I don't think it's translated to english, otherwise it could have been a nice theme for Hudson.

Verse in Swedish:

Kontrollen blinkar blå,
en signal för det säkra
Kontrollen blinkar blå,
då är allt som det ska
Om skärmen är normal,
finns inga skäl att tveka
När kontrollen blinkar blå,
då är allt som det ska

In my version of english it translates to

The control is flashing blue
a signal for the safe
The control is flashing blue
everything is alright
If the screen is normal
there is no reason to doubt
When the control is flashing blue
everything is alright
