I believe that was Ravi Shankar.  Interesting.  Kokams cells offer higher energy density than other lithium cells but are very expensive produced in Korea.  Labor costs are higher here.  Seems like this move would increase cell cost rather than lower it. I'm sure they have some workable business model though, maybe based on stimulus money/factory automation.  I surely hope they are successful.
