I am asking if anybody who knows how to mount a Transwarp 11 electric motor in a Toyota Tundra pickup?
Would like information for an ongoing Automotive project in our school.

IIRC, all of the Netgain and ADC motors are NEMA c-face motors that can
be attached and "hung" by the drive end face plate.   If you're
interfacing to an existing transmission, you might want to check with
some of the EV suppliers about an existig adapter plate, or even having
one made.

the front plate has an 8-bolt pattern, the back is just a plate that is fastened on to the main body.
How difficult is it to make a mounting bracket for the for the front plate.
Thanks for the info.

I'm certainly no expert, but I believe the alignment has to be to pretty
close specs.  One of the EV companies (I forget which one) might do the
adapter design for free, if you buy an adapter.

The Transwarp motors are either direct connected to the drive shaft yoke
using no transmission or can plug into a transmission output tailshaft.
These Transwarp motors come with a TH-400 tail shaft.  You can get a adapter
yoke to fit this TH-400 to fit any other size yoke on the drive shaft.

NetGain makes a cross members motor mount which would be in the same
position of the existing transmission or behind the transmission if use as a
hybrid.

If you are using a duel motor setup, then NetGain has the spline couplers to
coupler these motors together.

Make sure that the motor is in the same position as the existing
transmission and parallel with the differential maintaining the same drive
line angle as it was before.

Before removing the engine and transmission, check the drive yoke that
inputs into the transmission and record the clearance of the yoke to the
tail shaft of the transmission while the vehicle is on grade.  This same
clearance should be use with the Transwarp motor.
