Hi Experts,
This is likely a simple problem, but it has been stumping me.
Background:
I have a text calculation that is scripted to create a text file using
"select all", "copy" and then "open" a file on my hard drive, at which
time in the file I "select all", "Paste" and "save". I have realised
that there is an easier more direct method and that is the script
command "export field contents"
Problem:
When I use the copy paste command all the formatting that I have used in
the calculation is maintained (the carriage returns specifically). When
I use the export field contents I get little square boxes instead of
returns.
I need the carriage returns to work for the scripts that I am
calculating to work in another program.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Alec
