I have been working for years with FMP 8.5 advanced
till I could get for a university project an educational version of
10 (not advanced)
To my dismay this porgram is full of oddities, worst one that several
scripts do NOT work anymore
the porblem which really is beyond my understanding is that a simple
text cleaning script
whereby I use the Substitue function and put the carriage return sign
between "" and have that changed into a single space " "
is NOT executed...
nothing is happening at all, also no error messages are displayed...
Anybody any idea what/why???
Also the scricpting menu does not have a save biutton, so one as to
exit the window to get a save dialogue...
is that all because I started using a non-advanced copy?
I can find (after several searches NO documentation and no other
forum on the net that talks about this problem
I will be most grateful for any suggestions
