Are you attempting to use external storage? If so, don't do that. Also, do you answer "yes" when you are asked if you would like to copy the example programs. You need to do that.
Well i havent been encountered with any of the example programs till now.
I have written my basic mpi programs on it.
Beside . there s one more problem.
if i copy (.C) files from my pen drive to the desktop.
Those particular files the MPI execution isnt happening. i have to personally again write it down.
I don't know what is the cause of the problems you're having, but the last 32 bit release works fine, and the files are where they should be. HPL is in the hpl-2.0 directory:
I think you need to check things out a little more carefully and read the documentation. According to what you wrote before, you are using the latest 32 bit version. If you actually don't know what version you're using, then now's a good time to check. Several other important pieces of information are in my responses above, you should read those.
Getting HPL to work on Pelican is not hard, if you follow the instructions. I can't help you any more with this, I have already explained everything there is to explain.
Firstly sorry for the late reply , i had my exams so couldnt really work on this.
i am using 1.9.1 32 bit version and trust me it doesn't show all those directories as it has shown in yours...?
I would be grate full if you could suggest me the version number.
