IWP accessing a plugin

I have a plugin. It runs fine on FileMaker Server Advanced. To test
this I have a script that runs from a schedule on the server. It uses
a function in the plugin. The results of the function are placed into
a new record. This all works great. How ever if I try and access that
same script through Instant Web Publishing it does not work.

Is there something I'm missing here? Do I need to build my plugin
different or do I need to set something up in Instant Web Publishing?

thanks for the help

Hi David,

You need to install your plugin into the wpc directory also.

C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Server\Web Publishing\publishing-
engine\wpc\Plugins\

/Library/FileMaker/Web Publishing/publishing-engine/wpc/Plugins/

Note : By default, the 'Plugins' folder doesn't exist, and you will
need to manually create this.

You may need to stop/restart the web publishing engine once you've
installed the plugin.

Note : any 'Globals' you define in the plugin will be used across all
web clients.  The plugin is only loaded once,  not per web session.

regards

Kent.
