That was quick - they got it up and running faster than I expected. I was
expecting to rework the evdl.org page and announce the reboot later this
week.
But yes, regrettably the old IDs don't seem to transfer, so if you like
using the forum front end for posting to the list, you'll need to re-
register from there. (Your EVDL account is still separate.) If you only
want to use evdl.org/archive for reading the list and / or as a searchable
archive, you needn't worry about registering.
