OK, I'll ask forgiveness before asking for what I'm sure is an obvious
solution but eludes me.

After entering data into fields, when I switch to Layout Mode the data
entered shows up in the fields instead of the Field Name from the
specified Table  This is a database I copied most of the tables,
fields, etc. from another database.

I'm sure the answer is obvious and going to make me feel foolish once
I learn.

Thanks for the help,
George

George,

In Layout Mode Go to View/Show and turn off Sample Data.

That should do it.
