I would like to know if the latest release of commons pool (1.5.3)
resolves the deadlock issue in DBCP that is reported in JIRA DBCP-281
and DBCP-65.
The release notes mention issue POOL-149 which might be related but it
is not clear to me. Phil Steitz mention earlier this week it would do
the trick, just want to confirm.
