You could use MooPlug (http://mooplug.com) a free windows plugin to do this.

More specifically use the Moo_FolderList() function to return a list of
all text files in the import folder, then loop through them, import and
then delete if required.

Hi,

We have a file that is placed into out FTP server at random intervals.
The files are updates and additions to a file of 400000+ records
against which financial transactions are verified. The process is
currently a manual triggering of the script so that the user can
select the latest upload. The naming structure is
FILE_NAME_090701_00580.txt the next file will be
FILE_NAME_090702_00581.txt where FILE_NAME is always the same, 090702
is the date the file is created so ther may be several of these a day
and 00581 increments by one with every transaction. The import scripts
work fine but we would like to fully automate the process using a
plug-in to call the Filemaker script at 60 minute intervals. Does any
one have thoughts on how to acheive this? We are Filemaker 9.0 running
on server 9 Advanced Windows environment. We have a small .exe
programme that can remove the file once imported.

Thanks in advance EYET Team
