I call bs on the weight claim, at the very least its going to add about
6-8lbs
I think this is a hype product that could be an easy sell to companies that
already provide vehicle wraps (like the one I work for)
I wonder if is printable ? It almost looks like the perforated film for back
windows applied all over the car.
I really question the effectiveness of this product, and also the
cost-effectiveness, (to wrap a whole car its about $2,500 in the stuff I
work with, but again thats printed...) I think there are much better ways to
spend money to improve aerodynamics, this seems like a shotgun approach
which can be sold as a hot and new product, especially where somebody is
going to get a vehicle wrap already, it would be an ideal product to up-sell
a customer on
who really cares if it works ? :)
Like lots of people commented on the golf ball effect thread, it will work
best in certain areas only (different on all cars !!)
and at certain speeds. Wrapping the whole car is not necessary, but hey "it
looks cool!"
hype.
