As i always had a weakness for the Alouette, i took the chance to make a
panorama at the military exhibition during the National Day:
http://www.360cities.net/image/alouette-from-inside-heldenplatz-vienna
I find it fascinating that this helicopter is built so simple and with
only one small engine...but it works so well that the Alouette is still
in service...
http://www.360cities.net/image/alouette-from-top-heldenplatz-vienna

On the opposite - the Eurofighter Typhoon is a high-tech device which
can only be controlled with computer aid. At least, the makers
implemented a panic button to reset the plane to normal flight in case
you get lost in the setup.  :-)

Please don't look too close for stitching errors. I only had a simple
monopod with me, so the nodal point wasn't met very well...

Best regards
Bernhard

What viewer are you using?  I see nothing in either FF3 or IE8.

Ken, do you see other panoramas on the 360cities site? Maybe it's
because of the size of the panorama (12000x6000)?
You should contact Jeffrey about your problems. I'm sure he'd be
interested to hear about it!

I can see other panos on 360Cities.net.  I get this error:

ERROR: Adobe Flash Player 9 needed ...click here to download....

I have Flash 10.  Somewhere in your page you have this object. And
that's where the error happens.  That's all I can tell you and that's
about as deep as I want to get into this.

Hi Ken and Bernhard,

thanks for the bug report.

size of pano isn't an issue - we support up to gigapixel-scale, 65536x32768
to be exact,

this was an IE8 problem involving 3rd party javascript code which we had
recently integrated,  and this will be solved on the live site in the next
few hours.

cheers,
Jeffrey
