generating Individuals

Hello everyone,

I am using Protege 3.4. I have created the classes in my ontology, but now I want to create individuals of each class. I have an Excel file which contains all the individuals "Name"(data property).

Is there any way I can read these excel values into protege to create individuals?

What I tried was, I tried to read these values into the .owl file of my project, hoping that if I update my .owl file, the project will get updated too. But it didn't work.

I am very new to Protege and ontology and really wish to learn it.
