Can someone from the mod_auth_cas project comment on the status of http://www.ja-sig.org/issues/browse/MAS-24?
Has anyone reviewed it yet?  If there are any issues with the
patch, we'd be happy to address them.  Hopefully there's no argument
that this functionality would be beneficial to the community, so we'd
like to move forward with merging it into trunk if there are no issues.

Hi Marvin,
I have not had a chance to review the patch yet but asked the contributor to create a JIRA issue so that it would not get lost.  I definitely agree the functionality would be beneficial for the user base.  In the mean time, we would certainly benefit from any early adopters that wanted to give it a shot and report any issues that they encounter, but David Hawes indicated that his organization has been using this with no problem.

Thanks,

-Phil

Just a suggestion on the patch (of which I have no association and won't be doing any of the work) if its added in.  You might want to make the header prefix for attributes customizable in case anyone wishes to do compatibility with say the Shibboleth SP's method.

Cheers,
Scott
