reporting in portals

i know it's been asked before but i can't seem to find an answer...

i have an invoice db where the invoices are classified (via a value
list) of active, paid in full and profit & loss. i'd like to take just
the paid in full invoices and view the totals (count of invoices, total
dollar amounts, etc) of each of the past years totals. i really don't
want the individual invoices themselves but the totals. in short, i'm
looking for a report with sub-summary features in a portal and not in an
actual report (which is easy but that's not want i'm going for). any
help is appreciated. thnk you.

Subsummaries show in browse mode in FMP10.

Make a regular subsummary report: use just the subsummary parts, but
do it on a layout from the invoices TO. View it as a list, sort it
and... Voilá!
