Nice looking EV. It appears to be aimed at the same market as the Nissan
Leaf, with a similar layout at least superficially.
I'm having trouble finding much solid info on the website - it's long on
press releases and short on technical data. I did find a photo gallery that
worked after a couple of tries, but again just cosmetics, no details. The
FAQ says it uses 400v of lithium but not the kWh capacity. Claims top speed
of 135 km/h and range of 300km (surely not both at the same time).
There might be more in "Introducing Joule," but it's flash based and I don't
fell like messing with it.
I wish them the best. Hope they get it into production, though I wish I had
$5 for every EV manufacturer that bought an option on land somewhere and
sent out news releases about how many jobs they were going to create in
Bumcrum, Utah or wherever.
Assuming they do manage to build some I wonder how many they'll sell.
At least in the States, a car of that sort costing Euro 25-29k (US$ 37k-43k)
will be a pretty tough sale.
